O Ingredients (most asked)

Our standard cake POP is chocolate cake blended with cream cheese frosting, coated in confectionery candy coating, then hand-painted and decorated.

Component What it typically contains
Cake centre Eggs, sugar, butter, flour (gluten), cocoa, cream cheese, icing sugar
Candy coating Sugar, vegetable fats (often palm kernel), milk ingredients, emulsifiers, colourings (varies by colour)

Important: Specific ingredients can vary by design (especially colours, sprinkles, glitter/lustre, and edible prints). If you need a precise ingredient list for a specific product, message us the product link and we’ll confirm.
O Allergens & traces (please read)

Contains: GLUTEN (WHEAT), EGGS, MILK. Many designs also contain or may contain SOYA (commonly present in confectionery coatings/colours).

Trace / cross-contamination notice: Our POPs are made in a kitchen that handles major allergens. We cannot guarantee our products are free from traces of allergens including (but not limited to) nuts.

If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering.

Do you offer nut-free / dairy-free / egg-free / gluten-free?
At the moment, we can’t guarantee free-from variants due to how and where we produce and decorate POPs.

O E-numbers, colours & additives

Some bright colours, sprinkles, and decorative elements may contain additives and E-numbers (varies by colour/brand). If you want to avoid artificial colours, message us before ordering and we’ll advise what’s possible for your design.

O Shelf life, storage & freezing

Fridge: Best enjoyed within 10 days when stored in the fridge in the original box or an airtight container.

Freezer: Can be frozen for up to 3 months. Defrost overnight in the fridge (keep them boxed to reduce condensation on the coating).

Tip: Avoid storing POPs next to strong-smelling foods (they can absorb odours).
O How big are the POPs?

POP size: roughly 4–5 cm (golf-ball size) when round.

Total length with stick: approximately 15 cm.

O Minimum order & mixing designs

Minimum order: 10 POPs per order and (unless stated otherwise on a product) 10 POPs per design.

If you want multiple designs, order in multiples of 10 per design.

O Bespoke designs & edible logos

Yes — we do bespoke. Send us:

  • Your inspiration image(s)
  • Quantity
  • Date needed
  • Delivery postcode
  • Any dietary/allergen requirements

Logos / photos: We can usually add edible prints. For best results, provide a high-res PNG/SVG and confirm brand colours.

O Can I change or cancel my order?

Because POPs are made to order, changes/cancellations depend on whether production has started.

Best practice: message us ASAP with your order number and what you need changed — we’ll do our best.

O Can I add a gift message?
  • Made to Order: custom notes are not always available (product dependent).
  • Ready to Go: usually includes space for a short handwritten message on/inside packaging.

If your order is a gift and you’re unsure, message us before checkout and we’ll confirm what’s available for that product.

O Packaging (boxes, protection, gift wrap)

Orders are packaged in our signature POP Bakery boxes with protective paper to help keep POPs safe in transit.

  • Warm weather: we may include ice pouches to reduce heat impact.
  • Gift-wrap: available on selected products/collections (where shown).
Heat notice: Cake POP coatings can soften in warm conditions. We package carefully, but we can’t control temperatures once with the courier.
O Delivery options & costs

Delivery options and pricing are shown at checkout based on your postcode and chosen date. Options may include:

  • Courier delivery (UK)
  • Same-day / local options (where available)
  • Local collection (where available)

Tip: If you need POPs for an event, order to arrive 1–2 days before (they keep well in the fridge).

O Delivery windows, signatures & safe place

Most courier deliveries provide an estimated time window on the day. Please ensure someone is available to receive the parcel.

If a parcel is left in a warm place or misses first delivery, POP quality may be affected. If you’re not sure you’ll be in, choose a date you can be home or consider collection (if available).
O If my order arrives damaged or late

Message us immediately with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the outer box + inner packaging + POPs
  • Any courier tracking details

We’ll review and advise next steps as quickly as possible.

O Do you deliver outside the UK?

At the moment, we deliver within the UK only.

O Corporate orders, events & large quantities

Yes — we love corporate gifting and events. For the fastest quote, send:

  • Quantity + number of designs
  • Logo/artwork files
  • Date needed + delivery postcode(s)
  • Any packaging requirements (individual bagging, labels, etc.)

Bulk discounts: due to the handmade nature of POPs, we don’t typically discount — every POP takes the same care and time.
