A Step by Step Guide.
If your child is obsessed with PAW Patrol (or just loves Chase and Marshall), this is the guide to throw a party so good it’ll have every other parent asking “HOW did you do that?!”
Here is our step by step guide, so check off each step and be sure not to miss anything out!
📍 Step 1: Set the Scene → Balloons, themed tables, matching plates.
🎂 Step 2: Showstopping Cake → Make it BIG, make it themed.
🍿 Step 3: Funny Food Names → Rename everything. Trust me.
🎁 Step 4: Next-Level Favours → Ditch the plastic junk, go for personalised.
🏃♂️ Step 5: Keep Kids Moving → 1 big interactive game = happy kids.
📸 Step 6: The Viral Moment → Confetti, photo booth, grand finale.
STEP 1: SET THE SCENE
You want the entrance to set the tone the second guests arrive. Make them feel like they’ve stepped straight into Adventure Bay.
✔ Balloon Explosion – Go for red, blue, yellow, and green helium balloons. Add PAW Patrol foil balloons for extra magic (find them at Party Pieces or Amazon).
✔ PAW Patrol Welcome Sign – Print a big “Welcome to Ben’s PAW Patrol Party!” poster or get a personalised one from Etsy.
✔ Matching Table Setup – Red chairs, a long table with PAW Patrol plates, cups, napkins, and confetti scattered everywhere.
STEP 2: THE SHOWSTOPPING CAKE
The cake is more than just dessert—it’s the star of the show. It needs to be big, bold, and totally extra.
✔ 3D Chase Cake – If you want to go all out, order a sculpted Chase cake like this one. Check local bakers or Lola’s Cupcakes.
✔ Mini Cupcakes – For extra treats, serve PAW Patrol-themed cupcakes. Top them with Oreo crumbs, red sprinkles, or edible paw prints.
✔ Snack Station – Popcorn, chocolate bars, and crisps in red bowls with PAW Patrol character stickers.
STEP 3: FUNNY FOOD
Themed food makes everything better. Rename snacks to match the PAW Patrol theme—it’s an easy win for both kids and social media.
🐶 Pupcorn – Popcorn in Chase & Marshall snack bowls.
🐾 Chase’s Chocolate Bars – Dairy Milk and KitKats with custom wrappers.
🔥 Marshall’s Marshmallows – A bowl of mini mallows (because he’s always putting out fires).
🦴 Pup Treats – Chocolate-covered biscuits shaped like bones.
✔ Individual Lunch Boxes – Cute themed boxes (we went for dinosaurs—because why not?) with sandwiches, fruit, and crisps inside.
STEP 4: EPIC PARTY FAVOURS
Forget boring party bags—give kids something they’ll actually use.
✔ PAW Patrol Masks – Each child gets a foam Chase, Marshall, or Skye mask (Amazon or Etsy).
✔ Construction Hats – Yellow helmets with custom stickers that say “Ben Turns 3” (genius). Buy plain hats in bulk and add stickers from Sticker Mule.
✔ Mini Paw Patrol Toys – A small plush, stickers, or mini puzzles.
STEP 5: KEEP THE KIDS MOVING (OR PREP FOR CHAOS)
A room full of sugar-fuelled toddlers? You need an activity plan. One big game is enough to keep them happy.
🎯 Pup Training Agility Course – Create an indoor obstacle course with tunnels, stepping stones, and jumps. Let the kids earn their PAW Patrol badges at the end.
🔍 Rescue Mission Hunt – Hide small stuffed pups around the venue and have kids go on a “rescue” adventure.
🕺 PAW Patrol Dance-Off – Play the theme song and let them go wild.
STEP 6: END ON A HIGH (THE INSTAGRAM MOMENT)
The last thing kids (and parents) remember? The grand finale. Make it photo-worthy.
✔ Photo Booth – A PAW Patrol backdrop with themed props (paw print sunglasses, firefighter hats, and rescue gear).
✔ Confetti Finale – Right before the cake cutting, do a confetti pop moment.
✔ The Chase Cake Smash – If the birthday kid is game, let them go for it—face first.
